Rules

In order for everyone to enjoy themselves at LinCon, there are certain rules to take into account. These are listed below.

  • Smoking only takes place outdoors in designated areas.
  • No alcohol or drug consumption may take place in connection with the convention. Intoxicated persons and persons found with open packaging containing alcohol will be rejected from the area and may have their entry certificate revoked.
  • Any form of vandalism is prohibited. Depending on the type of vandalism, a police report will be issued and the culprit will be expelled from the convention.
  • All entrances and exits take place through the main entrance or the Grill during its opening hours, unless there are special reasons.
  • In the event of a fire alarm, the building must be evacuated. This applies in all situations. Be sure to warn those you see in your vicinity. Collection point is outside Kårallen, see map.
  • Paying visitors must carry their entry certificate visibly to facilitate checks, for example. Organizers must carry their organizer certificates.
  • Keep in mind that the dormitories are intended for sleeping or resting when they are dormitories.
  • All forms of harassment are prohibited. For more information on how we deal with harassment see separate document.
  • Only those on active duty or approved by the convention are allowed to wear uniform on the field
  • Blank weapons or replicas of real weapons are not allowed in the area.
  • LinCon reserves the right to eject people wearing politically charged symbols or clothing from the area.
  • Clean up after yourself and dispose of rubbish in the designated place.
  • Think about the environment and collect the pledge bottles in the designated bins.
  • LinCon reserves the right to refuse signage and/or sales that LinCon considers inappropriate for the event, such as excessively violent or explicit sexual material.
  • It is not allowed to attach things to walls or doors.
  • Posters are posted in specified locations or on whiteboards in the halls using magnets.
  • Keep in mind that there are people who are allergic, so avoid as much as possible ingesting things that can cause an allergic reaction through the air, such as nuts and citrus fruits.
  • It is not permitted to camp on the university grounds.
  • It is not permitted to sleep in caravans and mobile homes in the parking lots on campus.
  • It is forbidden to have sex in the convention area.
