Hello! We are looking for you who want to help us make LinCon 2025
We at LinCon need your help to organize Sweden’s best gaming convention! As an event staff, you can help in the reception, kiosk, grill and with cleaning, as well as setting up the convention and cleaning up afterwards.
Take the chance to be an important cog in the wheel that makes LinCon spin. You will be part of an absolutely fantastic work team with others who appreciate conventions.
We have a tier system for rewards. It’s really quite simple – the more you help, the more rewards you get.
To register as an event staff, you need to have an account created in the convention system at app.lincon.se
Registration is available when you are logged in to: Employee registration
There you can, among other things, enter certain contact details and answer which times and employee areas suit you.
Once we have received your application, we will process it. After we have processed the application, you will receive information about whether you have been accepted as an event staff and more information about what applies. When the convention approaches, you will receive an email with the schedule, the official handbook and what applies to you as an official.

Here’s how it works:
Level 1
For you who are new as an official at LinCon 2025 or it has been more than a couple of years since you were an event staff member. You are an official less than 12 hours during LinCon 2025.

For those who are new and help more than 12 hours during LinCon 2025 or have been an event staff at LinCon 2023 or 2024 and help at least six hours during the convention.

ATTENTION! Rewards may be adjusted up until the convention depending on what is possible to bring in.
The different areas/stations:
Burger station
This is the station where you get to mainly grill our LinCon-burgers! Other things you might get to help out with is getting the grills started and put out, bringing out more burgers from the freezers and to help bring the good vibes. Note: Outdoors. Some examples of tasks: Grill burgers and vegoburgers. Bring out more burgers from the freezers. Depending on shift, help with starting and putting out the grills.
Cleaning crew
This is the station where you get to help making sure that the convention looks good. It means that you will help with cleaning bathrooms, changing trash and pant, as well as head out on emergencies like when someone drops a bottle of soda. Some examples of tasks: Change trash and pant bags. Clean bathrooms. Spot cleaning when needed.
Final cleaning
Final cleaning means that you help with cleaning the venue after the convention. You will get to help restore all the rooms to their original state, make sure all chairs and tables end up where they belong. You will also help with transporting materials back to our storage. The final cleaning usually isn’t done until late in the evening so you need to prepare to stay a major part of the afternoon and the evening. Dinner is included. Some examples of tasks: Clean the venue. Carry chairs and tables. Restore rooms to their original state before the convention.
Kiosk
This is the station where you get to help make the LinCon-Kiosk flow smoothly! You will mainly be serving our visitors by manning the Kiosk. The tasks assigned to you varies depending on which shift you work and on occasion the tempo is high. This station includes manning the cashiers, preparing breakfast or the toppings for the burgers, refilling the stock and making sure the Kiosk-area is clean and tidy aswell as making and serving coffee. Some examples of tasks: Manning the cashiers. Preparing and serving breakfast. Preparing toppings and condiments to the burgers. Refilling stock. Cleaning and tidying the Kiosk-area. Making and serving coffee.
Reception
This is where you’ll get to help man the reception. This means that you often will be the among the first that our visitors meet. You will be helping out with checking in vistors, handle the luggage storage as well as the board game library. It is also common that you will get to answer different questions which our visitors might have. Some examples of tasks: Manning the reception. Check in visitors. Handle the bagage storage. Man the board game library. Answer questions from the visitors.
Sleeping quarters host
This one of the positions with the calmest pace. Your assignment here is to mainly watching the door to the sleeping quarters, to let the right people in and to enforce the sleeping quarter rules. Some examples of tasks: Man the entrance to the sleeping quarters. Let people in. Enforce the rules for the sleeping quarters. Walk fire safety rounds (make sure that the fire escapes are clear).
Unpacking & setup
Unpacking and Setup means that you arrive the day before the convention officially opens to help set it up. You’ll get to help out with transporting materials from our storage, carry tables and chairs, as swell as set up and prepare the different areas. A lighter dinner will be served. Some examples of tasks: Transporting the conventions material. Carry tables and chairs. Set up the different areas.

Final city
Start time: approx. 12:00 1st May
End time: When we are done.
Grill & Clean
5 hour shift. Not night.
Reception & Kiosk
4 hour slot.
